Welcome to Wild Type Learning

A space where children and families reconnect with Nature, themselves, and each other.

At Wild Type Learning, we offer immersive, therapeutic outdoor programs that support the whole child through movement, sensory-rich exploration, and relationship-centered learning. Rooted in nature and designed for a new generation, our approach nurtures emotional intelligence, resilience, and joy of learning - all in the heart of the forest.

Our programs serve children ages 2–7 and embrace all types of learners. Each experience invites meaningful play, mindful movement, and deep connection through science, music, storytelling, and creative expression. Set entirely outdoors, our nature-based curriculum honors the rhythms of childhood while engaging the senses, sparking curiosity, and fostering community.

We believe that when children are free to explore, feel, and move with intention in a living landscape, they remember who they are and their place in the web of life. Our mission is to help young children and their families cultivate lasting relationships with the natural world and their inner world - grounding them in awe, stewardship, and a sense of belonging.

As Wild Type Learning continues to evolve, we remain rooted in our core belief: that whole, healthy, inspired humans begin at the roots - in the foundational years from birth to age seven - and from there, growth happens naturally.
